a mixture; a medley.
A collection of things I've made outside the scope of a brief, without the intent of meeting a marketing objective. Simply for the joy of creating.
Wonderful things can happen when you relinquish control. Sink into the process and let the waves carry you to a place where time ceases to exist. Part analog part digital, this project was easy to get lost in.
Inspiration in a Cup
Seeing this little guy in my morning coffee inspired me to pick up a pencil and start sketching after a long hiatus.
Be Water
Eclipse
Watching the total solar eclipse of 2017 was an incredible experience. As I looked back through the photos I had taken leading up to the moment when day turned to night, I began seeing them as characters and scenes. I put a collection together that would allow me to enjoy the photos and remind me of that special memory.
These are some of my favorites.
Mixed
Acrylic paint mixed with photography and type.
Foto
I love spending my time wandering and taking photos. I particularly enjoy viewing things close up, looking at them through a different lens than what is usually seen while rushing past trying to get from point to point.
