Web Design BSA
For this project, created in the Web Design, Branding and Systems course at MCAD, students were asked to redesign the The Boy Scouts of America website. The primary business goals for the redesign were to recruit more boy scouts and volunteers and retain existing members and volunteers.
I began by examining the current site structure, branding and UX brief. One of the biggest issues on the current site was the navigation which was overwhelming and confusing. This was restructured in order to reduce cognitive load on users. Throughout the site, enhanced CTA’s, messaging and hierarchy accomplish the site goals set in the brief.
